Maybe things are not going as planned… Maybe you are here because:
You are feeling alone or isolated
You have been more anxious or irritable than usual
Pregnancy has been more difficult than you had anticipated
Your identity has significantly changed
You are carrying a child with special needs or health concerns
Pregnancy was unexpected
There was a trauma during child birth
You are having trouble becoming pregnant
You have come to the right place
As a woman, therapist and proud member of the Postpartum Support International, I feel incredibly passionate about holding space for women navigating perinatal concerns.
Many factors play a role in contributing to prenatal and postpartum stress. Most new mothers feel some level of stress during pregnancy and after childbirth but about 15-20% of new mothers experience significant signs of anxiety or depression. If this resonates with you, please know that you are not alone and you deserve the space to feel heard.
